About Solaire and the Sunlight Maggot "incident". Everywhere I look up on the internet it says the maggots killed him and make him go hollow and then he attacks you. In my playthrough he wears a sunlight maggot helmet, is fully human and talks about that he finally found his own sun and attacks me. This should work when you killed them once.However there is a really rare glitch when Solaire gets insane despite of killing sunlight bug. So if you want to be 100% sure, kill the maggot once again after your death and try not to die again until you meet Solaire, or just make a save backup. The only way Solaire is doomed to be hollow, is if you didn't get around to killing the bug until after you: 1) killed Centepede Demon or 2) entered Lost .
